About Markupia

Markupia is an indie game platform developed by Jhonnyz (on discord) and owned by the indie game studio Criticalbreak Studios. Our goal with Markupia is to provide a game platform inspired by Roblox, without the need for paid hosting services or similar costs; it is a completely free project with no intention of generating revenue. This philosophy is reflected in our in-game currency system ("Blox"), which cannot be purchased with real money, and there are no subscriptions, everything is entirely free. Users receive Blox daily simply by visiting the website. The project is still in its early stages of development; servers may experience instability or even go offline, as they are currently hosted on basic mobile devices running a Python-based server via Termux. If some or all of these servers go down, players will still be able to play in offline mode or via private servers where the owner acts as the host (a feature coming in the future). Furthermore, we plan to introduce "communitary servers", which will allow players to support the project by hosting servers using their own devices
